Forensic Fluids Laboratories provides COVID-antibody testing at the Michigan State Capitol
On Wednesday, December 2nd, Forensic Fluids Laboratories partnered with the Michigan Senate and Michigan House of Representatives to offer free COVID-19 antibody testing to our legislators, their staff, and law enforcement. FFL successfully tested over 280 Oral Fluid samples for COVID-19 antibodies and turned the results over to the donors in less than 24 hours. Antibody testing provides the Michigan Legislature and critical staff another tool to stay safe and healthy while they are on-site in downtown Lansing, serving their constituents. Forensic Fluids Laboratories Launches SARS-CoV-2 Antibodies Serological Testing
Forensic Fluids Laboratories (FFL) today announced it has begun testing for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies via serum to further understand a person’s history of COVID-19 exposure. FFL, a CLIA certified drug testing laboratory located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, is now able to test serum samples for the Immunoglobulin G (IgG) and Immunoglobulin M (IgM) antibody; and also has a Total Antibody test that is FDA approved. The test results allow those who are symptomatic and asymptomatic to make better informed decisions for continuing on with their lifestyle activities.
