Accountant part-time, temporary (on-site)
Time Commitment: Temporary, onsite, Monday through Friday, 20 to 25 hours per week between 8am and 5pm

As an Accountant at FFL, you will:
- accurately process accounts payable and related tasks.
- effectively prepare bank deposits, general ledger posting and statements, daily and monthly account reconciliations, and customer invoices and reports.
- accurately verify and enter invoices and input financial transactions into database(s).
- reconcile vendor statements and resolve issues with vendors, service advisors, managers, etc.
- prepare bi-weekly outgoing payment schedule and issue payments by check, ACH and/or wire transfers.
- assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- enter month end inventory count transactions and provide analysis on usage rates.
- assist with monitoring purchase requests and creating purchase orders for office/lab supplies.
- prepare and maintain accurate accounting documents and records.
- perform ad-hoc requests as assigned (expense analysis, budget analysis, general ledger reporting, etc.).
- adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) confidentiality guidelines.

What valuable experience and skills will you bring to the table?
- You have earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have a minimum of two (2) years accounting experience; some Cost Analysis is preferred.
- You have proven success in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable.
- You have hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports and are familiar with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- You are proficient in Excel and QuickBooks, required; and Fishbowl, preferred.
- You have a high level of accuracy, excellent data entry and word processing skills, and are well-organized.
