Forensic Fluids Laboratories Announces Quantitative Testing for 7-Hydroxymitragynine (7OH) in Oral Fluid

7-hydroxymitragynine (7OH) is a potent, active metabolite of mitragynine, the primary alkaloid found in kratom. Additionally, 7OH is being marketed by itself in select products. Known for its opioid-like effects, 7OH has drawn increasing attention from public safety and public health professionals due to its potency, potential for impairment, and emerging role in substance use trends.
