Absolutely. Compared to blood and urine collection, Saliva collection is quick, simple, and safe for both observer and donor.

- 11What is the detection window for drugs in Oral Fluid?
There are many human variables involved in how long a substance or metabolite can be detected in an Oral Fluid sample. It also depends on the drug. Typically, Oral Fluid testing can detect drugs as soon as 15 minutes after ingestion, and then up to 24-48 hours after that. In some instances, the detection window is up to 4 days.
- 12What is the possibility for a “false positive”?
Using proper collection methods and LC/MS/MS technology to positively confirm the unique “fingerprint” of a drug allows us to identify specific drugs in a sample, eliminating false positives.
- 13Can you “cheat” an Oral Fluid drug test?
With the proper collection/observation procedure, you cannot “cheat” or create a false negative for our tests.
